Live Practice Session #2 TOMORROW

Wednesday, January 26, 2022 12:43:29:000: PM

Hi Project #17 Cello friends!!

I really enjoyed the first live session with you this morning. It was especially good to meet so many of you for the first time - welcome!! And for those of you who couldn’t join us, you can catch up here: https://youtu.be/KHAA0rFBF00

During the session we covered many things - green screens, techniques, fingerings, bowings, relaxation… And we played through part 5, by popular request.

And now it’s time for:

LIVE PRACTICE SESSION #2!!!

Time: Thursday, January 27th at 10.30am CST (16.30 GMT)

Here is a countdown timer: https://howlongagogo.com/countdown/qrHgzibyflmD

Here is the Zoom link: https://us02web.zoom.us/j/5471155807

This session will be a chance for everyone to catch up, be up to date with the latest GCP news, ask more questions, get more tips and tricks for learning, practicing and really getting to grips with Beethoven’s wonderful music and will include a playthrough of the part which gets the most votes - not part 5 - that was today’s playthrough! I hope I will see you all at this session… and as always the recording will be available to catch up on or to watch again at your leisure.

A reminder of the project web page:

https://globalcelloproject.com/celloproject17projectpage.html

There have been a couple of updates since last email. If you are unable to access the links for the sheet music or practice backing tracks, please email us at admin@globalcelloproject.com .

I hope that I have managed to fix the issue some of you were having loading the webpage. If you are still not able to get onto it, could you please send me an email with a screenshot so I can troubleshoot?

There are a couple more ERRATA on the web page - so have a look and see if there are any for your part! The sheet music in the folder will be updated as the errata are incorporated. Let us know if you spot anything to correct!

Keep practicing and do make sure you keep listening to the music: The more you listen, the better you get at knowing where you are and knowing how the parts all work together. It’s a good way to take a break in your practice too!
